Commonwealth Piano Services LLC is a piano tuning & repair business located in Stafford, VA. We service pianos in the surrounding areas, including Woodbridge, Stafford, King George, Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania.
Informed by a background in both piano technology and music, our approach is grounded in the belief that the instrument plays an important role in motivation, enjoyment, and creativity. A piano should be more than something that simply functions; it should be something that inspires. Through skilled, reliable service, practical education, and honest guidance, our goal is to support both the piano and the pianist.

Tanner Honig: your piano technician
Tanner’s passion for the piano began when he was only a few years old, when he would listen to his grandfather play. He has been playing for over 15 years, and has spent several years serving as a musician at a local church.
Tanner has been a member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 2023, and has been tuning pianos professionally since 2024. Having studied at the Piano Technician Academy, the world’s leading correspondence trade school for piano technology, he has earned the title of Certified Piano Technician. He is also a certified installer of Piano Life Saver humidity-control systems.
